Musescore 3 Marching Basses and Tenors

In one song I am working on the bass drums are making noise (except for the added 6th bass but that's normal) but on a new piece of work, it's not working. Same with the tenors. Tried shutting off musescore and deleting and adding the basses/tenors back into the score but nothing changed.
