How to hover and play?

I don't even know how to ask it, let alone how to search for this information. In Finale, you can press and hold two keys (ENTER + Space, iirc) and while you hold those keys hover the score with the mouse and it will play whatever is directly under your mouse cursor. This is very handy when you're working without a piano and want to check in detail how something will sound. Is there such a thing in Musescore?

I don't think so. You can just hit the space bar to play it if that's what you want. If you use MuseScore 4 you can play an instrument solo by clicking the measure but not anything like rests or notes.

Thanks. Yes, I sort of found a compromise by selecting a note or chord and then moving to the following notes using the arrow keys. The problem is that it repeats tied notes (which makes you sort of lose sense of the flow) and, most of all, it doesn't play the sound of all instruments that have events at that moment, only that staff.
