Time measure
Why, if I change a 9/8 measure to 9/8, does it mess up?
The first measures remain the same, but the last ones change for no reason.

I don't understand what problem you are describing. However your first 9/8 bar is only three eighths long. Note the small grey minus sign and count the beats.
It will be easier to help if you attach the score (.mscz file) and give a more detailed description of what you do that causes the problem you are seeing.
In your second screenshot, the eighth bar of the 9/8 section is short, with only eight quavers. The tiny horizontal grey dash above the end of that bar indicates that its length does not match the time signature, i.e. you must have accidentally deleted a quaver beat.
