The right hand plays notes on the 4th beat, some of which are the same as in the tied notes in the left hand so it sounds as though the ties aren't working. Play only the left hand and the ties sound fine.
Now, this is using 4.1.1 and MSBasic so maybe it is different if you are using 4.1 and MuseScounds,
It is rather bad manners to delete your post after someone has replied to give help. Leave it there so that others with the same problem, whatever it was, can benefit.
