Note edit/selection keeps sounding
Today I experienced that MuseScore 4.1.1 keep sounding when entering, editing or just selecting a note. Yesterday the sound waned after a short while, but to day it keeps roaring in my ears indefinitely.
It stops sounding only after I click beside any note.
I tried to reduce the time it sound in the Preferences, but it keeps roaring.
ADDENDUM:
I just noticed that MuseScore also doesn't release notes when playback, so it all ends up in a mess of sound...

Try re-starting your computer.
Use menu item: Help > Revert to factory settings.
