Arco/Pizz
I'm working on a score that already has Arco and pizza markings that work as written. When adding a new section, the function does not seem to be giving me access to the window that sets up this feature. Instead, it only opens up a window for Swing settings and this piece is an orchestral work with no swing wanted or needed; not the window to assign arco or pizzicato to the four tracks. What could be the problem?

Select pizz. or arco from the Text palette and it works automatically. There is no longer a need to mess with Staff Text Properties.

I tried several times to find that from the ADD drop-down, then finally understood you meant Text from the palettes. Now I see; I shall try. Thank you so much!
