ms4 inconsistent volume / software freeze

Hi guys,
Terrific job on ms4. I just completed my first score from scratch using 4 and discovered some faults that I need help with.
1. The trumpets & sax volume is inconsistent with the value of the note. 1/16 are low volume but 1/2 & whole notes are much louder.
2. the cursor has a mind of its own after a change in a bar. I'll try and add a screen shot but instead of highlighting a bar or block of bars, it surrounds a column.
3. The software just stops for no apparent reason. I have to wait and guess when it let me resume.
4. Lag between mouse click and response.

I attached my score. You can do whatever to see if you have the same results. If the fault is my end, I'd appreciate some tips to get ms4 working properly. I'm using Win 11, 8GB ram, 1Tb drive.
