Ability to change staff size
I would like the ability to enlarge the staff for beginner note reading so that there are larger spaces between the lines on the staff as well as the option for larger notes.

I recommend that you increase the size of both staff and notes. If you just increase the staff spacing you get odd looking gaps around the notes. To increase the size of everything go to Fomat>Page settings and increase the scaling. The default is 1.75 mm which represents the distance between adjacent stave lines. Everything on the page is sized in proportion to that. Thus with five lines you have for spaces and the overall height of the stave is 4 x 1.75 = 7 mm. if you increase it to 2.5 mm the staff height will increase to 10mm and notes, clefs, time signatures, accidentals etc will increase in size to match.
