Control click to select staves

Firstly thank you for a remarkable piece of software. I've been after something stable which runs on Linux for a while and was getting tired of running Sibelius under wine. Its just not quite the same.
Would it be possible to add in support to control click to select multiple stave's and have playback only play the selected staves? Maybe Sibelius spoiled us a little with this but its something I am used to and found helped enormously when harmonising parts, especially on a large score.

In case you don't know, you can mute/solo parts in Display -> Mixer

Yes I was aware of this but by comparison its a rather painful way of previewing select parts. I don't know about anybody else but I tend to look for the fastest and most productive way of getting a job done and it seems logical to me that if i already have certain parts selected that they are only the parts I want to hear. Or maybe this is just me being awkward ;-)
