Add an option for arpeggio arrows to be on the stem

I was transcribing a Flamenco piece from a physical sheet I have. It has a specific strumming pattern (up down rest down up down) for the same chord over an entire measure. to avoid clutter it only shows the notes for this chord on the first instance and the note heads are hidden for the rest. and now since there's space on the bare stems I want to put the arrow there to further declutter the score, but I can't find an option to do so. If it already exists please let me know.
