Hotkey to reset an element on a score to its deafault position

I was adjusting some elements in a score (imported via MusicXML, so some elements were misplaced) and came across how easy it was to move things around wherever you wanted them to be. While this is insanely powerful, for a little old choral composer like myself it's not super useful, and a hotkey to move things like rests or pedal notation back to their default position without using command/control z would be super handy.

Even better, an option to lock certain elements per-score would be handy as well, but I suspect it would be much harder to implement usefully.
