MuseScore 4 - Tremolo beams
In a piece I'm currently engraving, I have some problems with tremolo beams.
Measure 15: Here the tremolo beams are too horizontal. In fact, it’s not really tremolo but rhythmic 32th. See also picture Va_measure15.png. In addition, I would need the text insert 32 above the beams.
Measure 17: Similar to measure 15 but with 16 above the beams, see Va_measure17.png. I was a little surprised how to set the beams. First set the two involved notes as 1/8 notes and then click the first one to get the tremolo beams. Is that intentional and per design. I would normally expect to select the two notes and then click on the tremolo beams.

MuseScore is trying to avoid some odd looking tremolo lines crossing the staff lines. If you need to adjust, select the tremolo beam after you created it and drag the handles down/up to your liking.
Believe adding tremolo's always worked like this, it is a bit odd indeed. You enter the notes in half of the total note value/length in order for MuseScore to allow you to enter/place them correct in the measure and then when adding the tremolo the length gets double the value/length.
As for the text, no option for that for tremolo's. So just add regular staff text and place it accordingly.

Thanks, I try when I've gone tomorrow.
