Doubled Text in Part Scores

I am arranging Ligeti's Musica Riceratta for Symphonic Orchestra but when I open a custom part with the strings, most system text (such as tempo markings, rehearsal blocks etc.) is shown twice. When I delete one the other is deleted with it.
