Hearing hidden instruments
Another user wrote "Once I hide an instrument from the score, I can't hear it. Is there a way to fix this?"
The reply was "Known issue, workaround: Hide the staves rather than the instrument".
However, when I do that, hiding the stave automatically hides and mutes the instrument. I want to be able to hear but not see the bass part.

I've fixed it by closing and reopening MuseScore. I've had to do this with a number of features that don't work until I restart MuseScore.
