Musescore 3.6 playback cursor speed fluctuation issue

How can I make the playback cursor play in line with the score?

More precisely, I want the blue cursor to always keep the same distance from my mouse pointer - video here - instead of sometimes going faster or slower compared to the scrolling of the music sheet.

Is there any possible way to do that? So far I've tried messing with the smoothPan/.../...Speed settings from edit -> preferences -> advanced (see my settings in the screenshot)
