Staff spacing changes drastically
As I typed lyrics the staff extended properly and filled the first page. But after that, it jumped to a new page each time the staff finished a line. Thus the two last page have only one staff per page. Can't seem to fix it. Appreciate any help.

You have a page break on page 2 - Circled
Delete that and you will then have only 2 pages.
If you want only 1 page you could go to Format Page Settings and reduce the scaling which will make everything smaller.
If you are ok with 2 pages but want it more balanced, add a page break earlier so that you have a similar number of systems on each page.
BUT - wait until you have finished entering everything before adjusting the layout as adding new material is likely to make any previous adjustments inappropriate.

Thanks. Now it put them on the same page, but the spacing seems large. What do you think causes that?

As you only have 2 systems on the final page, Musescore attempts to even out their vertical spacing. As I said, if you want it to look more balanced, add a page break to an earlier system. If you want the systems on that final page pushed together nearer the top, append a vertical frame and adjust its height.
Also note that it is easier to provide help if you attach the score itself (.mscz file) rather than a picture of it. That way we can see what settings you have applied and advise how you might try adjusting them.

Never mind. I closed the program and opened it again and everything works. Just some quirk i guess. I appreciate you taking the time to help me.
