Installing Muse Sounds manually (without Hub)?

I would like to use Muse Sounds on a platform that the Hub doesn't support (aarch64 Linux).
I have another machine which is supported (macOS), so I can get the actual data files. The trouble is, I don't know where I should put them on Linux so that Musescore may recognize them.

In order to use Muse Sounds, you need the sampler library libMuseSamplerCoreLib.so
This is not open source. Unless the Muse Group wants to compile it for arm processor, you are out of luck.
