Musescore 4.1.1 Unable to input MIDI with M-audio KeyRig 49 Controller

HI Musescore team, my name is Luis A. Becerra.
Thank you for this great program.
I am using version 4.1.1.232071203. On linux (ubuntu 22.04) on a Core i3-2100 CPU, 16gb ram, 1tb SSD and AMD Cedar graphics.

When I go to the menu: Edit -> Preferences -> I/O -> MIDI
· My M-audio KeyRig 49 controller shows up on MIDI output, instead of MIDI input. So I am not able to select it for note input.
It is a MIDI controller keyboard, so It should be an option on the MIDI input side, not on the MIDI output side.

I attached a picture of the available options for MIDI output, where my keyboard is wrongly listed.
