Separate sounds for 2-staff instrument
I am writing a piece for solo harp. I want the notes of the upper staff (G-staff) to be played as harmonics and the notes of the lower staff (F-staff) as normal. But if I write "harmonics" on the upper staff (using Palette/Text), the notes from the lower staff are also played as harmonics. How can I have an effect separately from staff to another ?

Try this:
- add two separate Harp instruments
- in Stave/Part Properties, hide the bass clef in one case and the treble clef in the other
(Hide when empty = Always)
- add a Bracket to link the two separate instrument staves
- delete instrument long name and short name for Harp 2
- adjust the vertical position of long name and short name for Harp 1 (use the Enter key)
Because the two staves are separate instruments, you can change their properties independently.
