Concert pitch switching not working in the middle of the piece

• Nov 19, 2023 - 20:27

Dear all, I am not sure, if this is a real bug, or if I messed something up. (I hope, I get this right in English!)
I wrote a piece for wind band in e-flat major. Now, when I look at the sheet with concert pitch, every instrument has the 3 "b", as it should be. If I switch to transposed, the transposing instruments change their key, e.g. the alto saxophones are written in c-major of course. But on page three of the score, the alto saxophones (and also the baritone sax) change back to the 3 "b". Every other instrument does not change, such as trumbone stays in e-flat major, clarinet stays in f-major and so on. Later in the piece, the saxes change back to c-major and even different keys. The playback sounds normal all the time, by the way.
Any help is appreciated!

What you describe should not happen. To get help you will need to attach your score (the .mscz file) here so that someone can see what is going on and whether you have discovered a bug or whether there is something odd in your score.

That is a nice picture of part of your score but not the score itself and not helping much. From the picture we see the symptoms, but we read those in your first post. Someone needs to look "under the hood" to see what is causing those symptoms. Please attach the score - the .mscz file as requested.
