What are these plus signs and how do I remove them?
I've sent the screenshot below. My laptop suddenly went wonky and did random stuff and once it subsided, I see these plus signs. What are they and how do I remove them?

The plus signs indicate that the measure has a duration greater than indicated in the time signature. If you count the 16ths in the flute's second measure you will see there are 6 in the first group and 7 in the second group.
If you right click in the measure and look at the measure properties you can set the actual duration to be the same as the nominal duration - the one set by the time signature. This will remove excess notes or rests from the end if the measure.
