yamaha piano

i have a yamaha P225 piano. and a computer running windows 10 home.
I connect via usb from piano to computer. in musescore 4 latest release I see that MIDI input and MIDI output are recognised a the P-series.
Now note input from piano to musescore seems to work but the piano seems not to play back the the MIDI file. when I play back the MIDI file it sends the notes to the computer sound. Not to the piano.
Have I missed to set a switch somewhere?
