How to manage section groups in large scores

question about score section groups.PNG question about score section groups.PNG question about score section groups.PNG I can't seem to manage the behavior of barlines within a section-group in an orchestral score. I've tried dragging the barline down, but it attaches itself to a staff below the one in question. I've tried fixing this. Does it have something to do with needing to change the position of the Euphonium in this score?

I am using Musescore version 3.6.2.548021803

For a new score I chose the instruments in the order of your image:
- Bb Trumpet, Horn in F, Trombone, Euphonium

MuseScore re-ordered the instruments as shown below:
- Horn in F, Bb Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium
... and all the barlines connected correctly:

Thank you, DanielR. When I set up my score I used a template, but I had to add the Euphonium because it wasn't in the template. Then Musescore placed it below the piano part. I moved the staff easily enough, but I'm guessing my moving that staff is why the barlines aren't working correctly. That puts me on the path to solve the problem, I hope.

There is also a way in which you can correct all the faulty barlines in one sequence:

  1. Right-click a barline on the upper staff which needs to be connected to the staff below
  2. Choose Select > Similar on this staff
  3. In the Properties panel for these selected barlines, enable the checkbox Span to next staff
