What version of Audiveris is MuseScore using for pdf import?

• Jan 24, 2024 - 19:45

I have some pdfs that I converted to mscz a little under a year ago and the notes in the tenor clef were consistently wrong, being off by a fifth.

I see that this was reported to Audiveris and apparently addressed in the latest version(s)

https://github.com/Audiveris/audiveris/issues/650

Has MuseScore updated the version of Audiveris in the past year?

Thanks

just to follow up, I tried convert a pdf to mscz today and it still screws up the tenor clef.

According to the Audiveris folks this has been corrected. Any chance of MuseScore updating the version they use?

The menu option File > Import PDF... is hosted on musescore.com, So this is just a guess, but I think that any change probably needs to be requested not here on musescore.org but instead on musescore.com.

Regardless of version...
The PDF import service provided by musescore.com does a one-pass conversion of the PDF. You may wish to install a local copy of the Audiveris software onto your computer. This will allow access to the interactive editor where manual corrections to the OMR "interpretation" can be made, improving the conversion accuracy.

Perhaps a cursory read of this may help:
