I can't select a measure without adding more notes
I'm trying to select measures to copy and paste but every time I shift-click it just adds another note. I how do I get into the selection mode where it doesn't just keep adding note every time I click anything?

Hit ESC to get out of Note input mode.
Alternatively hit keyboard shortcut N to toggle Note input mode off.
