measure too short

Measure 46 is a beat and a half short. I have no idea how it happened nor how to fix it other than deleting the measure and starting over. I tried inserting the 3/4 thinking that would do something but it didn't.

Also... isn't this error supposed to be flagged when I open it? And where is the "something" that checks the piece and points out errors?

If I did this correctly...

Right click on measure 46 and select "measure properties". It'll say that you measure is actually in 3/8. Change it to 3/4 in the dropdown menu and it adds 1.5 beats to the end of the bar.
