Double note length
The attached file is in 4/4 time. I wish to change it to 4/2 time, which will require all the notes to double in length: quarter notes become half notes, etc.
How would that be done?

Wow, I found the answer myself in the handbook: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/copy-and-paste#half-double
Ctrl-A to select all, Ctrl-C to copy, then Ctrl-shift-W. It seems you can change the time signature before or after with identical results.
