Playback distorted whilst using headphones

OS: Microsoft Windows 11
Headphones: HyperX Cloud Stinger S (USB)

Hi all, I've explored a few threads on this but really struggling to find a solution. Whenever my headphones are plugged in, the playback is 2 octaves too high and 2/3 times too fast. I've tried to reset to defaults in I/O, I've turned off exclusive mode in my system settings, switched between sound fonts etc. but to no avail.
