Looking for assistance regarding this matter.
To secure your work so far, export the file to a MusicXML and then MIDI files onto your local hard disk. You then have copies in other formats, just in case.
Then, use save AS to save under a different file name, in Musescore format.
Which version of MS 4 are you using? (4.2.1 is the latest). Which OS?
Is the save to a local disk or the cloud? Big difference.
Are you willing to post your score for others to look at?
Some posters here are good at fixing files, if that is the problem.
