Convert a pdf to guitar tablature

I have MuseScore version 4.2.1.240230937. It doesn't have the Instruments under the Edit menu. This makes it hard to follow the YouTube videos that tell you to there to do the conversion.
Can someone help me convert sheet music on a pdf to guitar tablature?
