Palletes

• Mar 26, 2024 - 16:03

So I've been using MuseScore for a while now (the version is in the Screenshot below) and up until recently I never knew that you could have the palette docked to the side of your workspace. I've been switching back and forth from the score to the master palette, which are 2 separate tabs, and it can be inconvenient at times. I was just wondering how I could get the palette to show up in my workspace so everything would be in one spot.

Side Note: This is the only version of MuseScore available on my school computer. Could that be the issue?

Many Thanks!

There are two different options regarding Palettes:
View > Palettes (shortcut F9)
View > Master Palette (shortcut Shift+F9)

The first option (View > Palettes) is enabled by default in the View menu.
The second option (View > Master Palette) is disabled by default in the View menu.
But you should be able to enable and disable "permanently visible" for either option, by ticking or unticking it in the View menu.
