Laggy, crackling playback after update

Hello all,
I have decided to let MuseScore Update to 4.3.0 which seems to have been a mistake. I am trying to playback my score, which is a basic string quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) with the basic soundfonts and everything is playing back at like -2x speed (not an accurate measurement but the violins playing treble clef notes sound like they're playing below the bass clef). I am already at the highest buffer rate, I don't know what's going on. How do I uninstall this update or fix this?
