Auto System Key switching

I tend to write my C#/Db parts in C# for saxophones because I work with sharps better. I notice that when I leave a file closed for a time and open it back up, the key signatures for the saxophones have changed to Db away from C#. I notice that the system sets the accidental preference to flats, overriding my previous set preference for sharps (which is why it switches from C# to Db). Is this a glitch, or is the MuseScore 4 meant to do this?

This also applies to instruments like the clarinet and the Tenor saxophone. I set the desired accidental to sharps, and when I opened my file, it became flats, resulting in an infuriating switch from F# to Gb.
