How to create a separate system of just one line to show if were to transpose to different keys, what upper and lower notes would be
Hi there, I am hoping someone can help me. I have a 3 part vocal arrangement. BEFORE the arrangement starts I want to add a single stave where I can show the starting notes / highest / lowest notes in the part in different key signatures. I have so far created a section break and hidden the empty staves. Is there a cleaner way of doing this? Essentially want to split into 2 pieces on the same page where the first piece is one voice/instrument and is not really a 'piece' - more guidance notes. And the 2nd piece is 3 vocal lines and off we go...
Hopefully the screen shot gives an idea of what I'm aiming for here.

You could use an Ambitus, https://musescore.org/en/handbook/early-music-features#ambitus

ooh that's a good feature to know about - and I may well apply that - I guess my real question is about how to create one stave of music that is separate to the actual score I've created that sort of serves as an intro
Perhaps https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/showing-staves-only-where-needed, particularly the sections on "Cutaway staves" and "Ossia".

I would use a section break after the introductory line: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/using-sections-multiple-movements-o…

Thanks - this is what I've done - but there are a few things that aren't as clean as I'd like e.g. I want to remove the instrument name, but it will remove it off all staves. But think I have got around it by editing the PDF after.

Couldn’t you just make it invisible? (Select the name and press “v”)

Doesn't seem to work for instrument names?

Okay, so add another voice staff to your score with only the info. you want to show at the beginning.
Then you can remove the instrument name from that staff (and hide empty staves).
