Ossia staves
It would be good to be able to easily add an Ossia stave next to any existing stave. In Sibelius, you can simply select the bar(s) and add an ossia stave next to it. I am aware that there are ways to do this already by creating a linked stave and hiding every bar that doesn't contain anything, but this has been very time consuming for me

Not a linked stave. They are used for different presentations of the same content e.g. standard notation + tab.
Just add another standard stave of the instrument you want to show an ossia for. Hiding the empty section of the ossia stave is very easy. Just select the appropriate option (always) in the stave properties. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/showing-staves-only-where-needed#Os…
