Endless Musescore Update

Hello! I'm operating Musescore on a Mac, and have been for a long time. However yesterday I went to open Musescore via the Muse Hub, and apparently initiated an update that I was not aware of. Hours later, the progress bar on the update hasn't moved at all, and I can't open Musescore anymore. I thought force quitting might work, but since Musescore isn't even registering as "open", that option's not available. Anyone else having this issue? How can I get back into Musescore again?
