Untethered Fretboard Diagrams

I would like to request that Fretboard diagrams have the ability to be freely placed on the page, or within a frame, as a reference. When they are tied to elements of the staff, they disrupt the flow and reading of a chart. Having the option to keep my chord names float above the staff but with a reference Fretboard diagram at the top of the page would make the layout and ease of reading a chart flow more intuitively.
