Inputting notes on both the bass and treble staves together for piano pieces, using a midi keyboard

Hi,

I'm trying to create a piano score, but when I enter notes using a midi keyboard, even If I have selected both the treble and bass staves in a measure, all the notes enter in the treble staff! I don't want to have to drag the bass notes down, it would take forever. Is there a setting that splits notes into treble and bass?

In the screen cap I'm attaching you see what I get when I enter notes and then what I want. How can I do that without notating the two staves separately?
