Lyric bug with new update

As I'm attempting to add lyrics to a repeated verse, each time I "space", which used to move the curser to the right, under the next note or syllable, my curser jumps up to the line of lyrics that is already there for the previous verse. I just updated to the newest version of MuseScore 4. The score in question was created in the previous software version, yesterday. In order to add lyrics to this repeated verse, I am required to click each note and then use command L. For every syllable. Is there some way around this bug? OH, and my hyphens are up in the previous lyric line
