Cross-staff
How to create a cross-staff in a piano (treble & bass staves). In the documentation it says click ctr-shift and arrow up (or down). That doesn't work for me. Nothing happens.

Select a note and press Ctrl+Shift+↓/↑ (Mac: Cmd+Shift+↓/↑). This moves the selected note, and all other notes in the same voice, down (or up) to the other staff,
Make sure that you have used a piano instrument with two staves and not two pianos with one stave each. Cross staff notation only works on the former.
If you look in the instruments panel you should see this.

If you click on the triangle that I have circled in red you should see this.

If you don't you have two pianos with one stave each.
To fix it. Add a piano to the score and copy/paste from your existing staves onto the respective staves of the new instrument and then delete those other staves.
