Notes not aligning after text is moved

Hi, I have updated to the last version (4.4.2) of MuseScore Studio, and I have encountered an annoying bug - I seriously hope it's not a feature! Please have a look at the picture. The distance of the first two notes is aligned according to the first syllable originally placed more to the right. However I don't want to have it aligned on some space or a dot after a verse number, but on the vocal. In older versions, if I moved the syllable to the left, the note above moved too, which helped to save some space and - especially - removed the awkward space. Could you please return the original behavior, or at least make it as an option?

And one additional wish I have: could you also consider aligning on the vocal instead of on the center of the syllable? Adding it as an option?
