Update from 4.3.2 to 4.4 introduces a bug while entering lyrics with different keyboard layouts

I am working on a project In Nepali and I noticed an issue when I updated from 4.3.2 to 4.4. I am typing using Nepali unicode NE keyboard layout. It causes the letters to not show as they were typed. Short of changing keyboard layouts (Which is not Ideal) or never updating Musescore, what are some options when it comes to fixing this issue?
