How to insert a rest in front of notes already in the measure?

I'm a newbie, just getting started with MuseScore (version 3.3). LOVE the program, but I'm struggling with a few things. This one in particular: how to insert (or move) a rest in front of notes that are already in the measure? I attached an example: for my own learning tool, I want to score a wonderful piano solo that Larry Golding played in Madeleine Peyroux's version of Dance Me to the End of Love. I need that sixteenth-note rest at the BEGINNING of the measure, but darned if I can figure out how to make that happen. Thanks, community.

Cut out the notes without the rest and insert the notes again one semiquaver rest later. You may have to write the semiquaver rest first ...
