choosing a key signature
When setting up a new score, the key signature that shows on the staff is not the one I selected. For example, if I choose E flat major, I get the key signature for F major. Any suggestions?

Do you use a transposing instrument like a trumpet? Then that's normal. In the lower right corner of the program you can enable/disable concert pitch. If you take one of those settings, all instruments should be in the same key signature.

That solved the problem. Thank you! I write for a tenor sax but do the transposition in my head.
