Problem with Vienna Ensemble Pro

Hi! I have a problem with Musescore on Windows 11. I have installed Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 which works with a VST plugin that connects to a server (the Vienna Ensemble Pro Server) and can normally play whatever midi I send it. It does not work with Musescore though. Whenever I load the Vienna Ensemble VST plugin, a message box appears telling me "Connection failed" and "Could not connect to service". The problem is unique to Musescore, since every other program with VSTs can easily connect to Vienne Ensemble Server. It is also unique to Windows. Musescore on MacOS can do the connection perfectly. So there seems to be a unique problem with windows that I can't figure out. Can you suggest a way to fix the issue? Thanks
