Autosave on files
After working on a file I accidentally saved an old version of it so all my progress is gone, now I can't go back. I know it autosaved and I've saved it manually before, how do I load the saved versions of the file?

There's a lot of information in the thread Musecore 4 Autosave Location:
https://musescore.org/en/node/351724
But it mentions there: "The autosave - which lives in the same folder as the score itself - is meant only for crash recovery. If the score is closed normally, then the autosave is deleted."
Think about what happens when you "Save" a file. MuseScore compresses your file, deletes the existing one on your disk and then replaces it with the new version with the (small but present) risk of corruption. Use Save as... and maybe add date +/- time to the filename and you will always have a recent version to go back to.
Given your description of the issue, I think you're out of luck. However, read the following two How-Tos and maybe you'll get lucky:
How to recover a backup copy of a score
How to recover a backup copy of a score (1.x)
Going forward, the following thread post describes @yonah_ag's folder structure (and now, mine, too) for file versioning. This might help if the problem arises in the future. (Sadly, if you're not already doing it, it cannot help NOW.)
