Playback of desired chords with "repeat last bar" symbols
In Musescore Studio, I would like to copy chord symbols from another instrument part into the drum part. This is easily done when one is copying the chords from, for example, the vocal part to the bass guitar part by simply selecting all the chord parts from the vocal part and pasting them into the bass guitar part. However, most drum parts use many "repeat last measure" symbols when the drum part plays the same beat over many consecutive bars, and if you paste chords from another instrument part into such a drum part, the playback for bars with "repeat last measure" symbols will playback the pasted chords (which you want), but also the chords in the previous bar (because of the "repeat last measure" symbol). This only matters regarding playback, but I would still like to know how to get the playback to only play the pasted chords and not the chords from the previous bar in drum part bars with "repeat last measure" symbols. I know it can be done if I score the drum part without "repeat last measure" symbols (and instead write those bars out longhand), but that is not desirable. Is there a solution to this? Thanks!

"Repeat last measure" means exactly that. Repeat everything in the last measure. If you want different chords, then you have to not repeat. One way to do this would be to have the chords on another staff. Then the chords will not be repeated by the Repeat last measure in the drum staff.
