adding instruments to an already made score that was sent to me

hi my band director sent me the score he finished and I am the percussion instructor and I need to add the marching percussion drumline and frontline to the score how can I add them to the score?

  1. Open the score in MuseScore Studio
  2. Open the Layout panel: menu path: View > Layout, or shortcut key F7
  3. On the Layout panel: click the Add button, choose New instrument
