Musescore 1.3 with Mac Lion OS went silent

After a recent Mac OS Lion security update Musescore went silent. Starting Musescore from the terminal window indicated that it did not have permission to run the Silverlight plugin. I deleted the plugin and re-installed the latest version of Silverlight and the sound was restored.
