"Slash" note notation for Jazz bass lines
In many Jazz charts the notes for the bass are not written. Instead the chord names are noted and the bass is expected to "improvise" the part on the fly. If a bass part is of a walking bass style it would be noted with 4 slash marks per measure (4/4 time).
Is there a way to create a "Special" note for this purpose?

sure. Select a note , and double click the slash note head in the notehead palette.
Do it for every note in the measure.
Then right click the measure and choose -> properties. Choose Stemless for this measure.
